OUR BEGINNING

In 1987 Albert and Dora Vega, Missionaries to Mexico shared with us their vision to reach the people of Mexico by educating the young people with the Word of God and training them to go back to their communities and make disciples.  In that visit they shared with the congregation the many needs of the bible college in Mexico and a Mission Church in Rosarito, Mexico.  Since the time the vision was presented Liberty Chapel Church has supported two Bible Colleges and a Missions Church in Rosarito, Mexico.

NEW LIFE BIBLE COLLEGE

Liberty Chapel Church is currently sponsoring New Life Bible College.  Church work crews participate in continuous construction projects at the Bible College.  The college was dedicated in March of 2002 and started their first 3-year program.  In November of 2005 their first graduation was held.  The Bible College provides on-going classes, with students participating from various regions of Mexico.

NEEDS

The college building continues as a work in progress.  A slab for a chapel has been poured, however, the building needs to be constructed.  Future housing is being planned for the director and his family. Additional needs include beds, linens, dressers and desks for the students.

New Life Bible College is located in San Quintin, Mexico, it is approximately 5 hours south of the San Diego / Mexico border.

EL SHADDAI CHURCH

ROSARITO, MEXICO

PASTORS: SERAFIN & MARISELA CRUZ

Several years ago, while on our way to one of the bible colleges we support, we decided to visit former students and now pastors of El Shaddai Church, Serafin and Marisela Cruz. The church was an old building and in need of much repair. The parsonage where the pastors lived had leaks in the roof and their walls had no sheetrock or insulation.  Their water or sewer system was not connected to the city. The water had to be delivered by truck and buckets of water were needed to flush the toilets, something we take for granted. There was definitely a need, and we wanted to help.  Since that time, many other visits have been made to the church to work on one project or another. There is still much work to be done and we feel confident that the Lord will provide people to join us in supporting this church so that the Word of the Lord will continue to be preached in Mexico.

El Shaddai Church is located in the city of Rosarito, Mexico approximately 25 miles south of the San Diego / Mexico border.
